Ajax caught our eye the second we saw him, he is extremely true to type with correct conformation and excellent substance of bone. When you put your hands on his fleece it is extremely soft with excellent nourishment and is very low in primary fibres. He is exhibiting excellent density and when you open his fleece he does not disappoint, he has matchstick bundles of highly aligned fibres that peel open like a book. Within those bundles he is showing a high frequency/high amplitude crimp style and excellent brightness. These fleece charateristics are remarkably uniform throughout his saddle and carry into his extremities as well as any alpaca we have seen.

If a fleece like his isn't enough, he also has a very interesting mix of colours behind him. His sire is Greenvale Medici, A rose grey, and his dam being Autumn Gold Paloma, a brown, who is from a mix of black, grey and white breeding. Because of his grey and black pedigree we plan to use Ajax extensively in our grey program.
